For those who have never participated in a martial arts program, Elite Instinct offers unique ways for children and adults to gain coordination, flexibility, agility, and more. It promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend
themself against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and
proper technique—most notably by applying joint-locks and chokeholds.
Kids (ages 6-12) will learn basic jiu-jitsu movements along with
overall body awareness. The class emphasizes the basic
development of the child's physical, emotional and mental well-being
through the integration of physical education, self-defense and general
martial arts concepts. Skill-oriented activities improve the child's
listening skills, coordination, motor skills, flexibility and agility.
